Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Bills insurance claims to payors in a timely manner.
Confirms payers' receipt of claims via acknowledgment reports or manually as required.
Identifies and correctly resolves all claim edits failures in a timely manner.
Reviews and resolves unbilled encounter report Completes manual billing process for claims that cannot be sent electronically.
Works denied claims as required.
Generates re-bills with needed information as necessary.
Reviews Hospital cards/interface charges/electronic charge sheets, etc.
for accuracy and resolves missing/incorrect information as necessary.
Answers questions from other staff or clinic offices by phone or e-mail in a timely manner.
Consistently and accurately documents accounts with activities as needed in a timely manner.
Maintains position's procedure documents.
Ensures compliance with all Medicare, Medicaid and other Federal Health Insurance program rules and regulations.
Informs management of any known or suspected violations by other employees or suppliers.
Prefer medical experience but will train the right person.
Post offer drug screen, physical, and background check required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
